Questions

Frequently asked

What areas does Stemtech serve?

We are based at 48 Steppes Road, Chisipite, Harare, and we work across Harare and the wider Zimbabwean market. Most of our projects are in and around Harare, but we regularly take on installations further afield.

How long has Stemtech been operating?

Stemtech Electrical Engineers (Private) Limited was founded on 27 October 2003. We have been designing, installing and maintaining solar and electrical systems in Zimbabwe for over two decades.

Do you handle both domestic and industrial work?

Yes. Our electrical engineering team works across domestic, commercial and industrial installations — from a single home solar system to multi-panel commercial rooftops and industrial backup power.

Can you work on an existing solar installation?

Yes. We regularly assess, extend, service and repair existing solar installations that were installed by other parties. We will give you an honest read on what is worth keeping and what needs to be replaced.

What is the typical lead time for a solar installation?

Lead time depends on system size and equipment availability. A residential system can often be surveyed within days and installed within a couple of weeks once design is signed off. Larger commercial projects are scheduled around site access and equipment delivery.

Do you offer support after installation?

Yes. We provide 24/7 technical support for the lifetime of installed products, along with tailored guarantees and warranties and scheduled servicing.
